King Production is different from other recording schools by providing one-on-one training with your instructor.  Here, you will be recording a client and learn to mix down their project as your final exam.  You can also feel free to choose the option of Pay-as-you-go with no contract to sign and you may also quit anytime.  King Productions has worked with many professionals including platinum recording artists, singers, and many upcoming artists; along with many voiceovers personality for TV, radio, movies and internet.

Classes:
Audio 1 & 2 (Beginning & Intermediate) is hands-on course for aspiring audio engineers and anyone who wants or needs a working knowledge of the recording studio. Using a fully equipped 24-track studio, we cover acoustics, microphone selection and placement, the mixing console, and the use of outboard control room effects. Students have an opportunity to operate the board and set up microphones as they gain first and knowledge of the recording process. Digital and analog formats are fully discussed and demonstrated. Whatever the career - musician, producer, arranger, songwriter, A&R person, etc. the recording studio is central to every aspect of contemporary music. This course provides the means to function effectively and communicate clearly in the recording studio environment. This course includes setup and troubleshooting, basic recording, editing, and mixing.  This course consist of 10 (2 hours) classes, $1850.00 .  

The studio assistant is the backbone of the recording industry and the classes can be a gateway to bigger things. The classes require certain definite housekeeping skills. Included in Audio 1 & 2 is a hands-on course designed to familiarize you with contemporary studio procedures and prepare you for employment or running your own studio. Topics include a full discussion of computers and equipment care. Analog and digital tape handling and storage studio setup and breakdown, session documentation, and studio etiquette are demonstrated and discussed in detail. You will also learn how to treat an artist and get the best performance from them. You will be required to record a client, mix it down, master it and burn it onto a CD as your final project. 

Audio 3 (Advance) Continuing study of audio engineering theory and practice for students who have completed or Audio 1 & 2 or can pass an exam.  Students engineer a variety of in-class sessions gaining skills in advanced microphone and mixing techniques, digital and analog signal processing, and creative use of the studio. You will dive deeper into the industry standard software (Protools) which will be taught by a certified Pro-tools instructor.Sessions cover a spectrum of musical genres from totally live to electronic productions. Completion of Audio Engineering 1 & 2 or its equivalent is required. You will need to record a drummer, a Bass player, a Guitar player’s, vocals, and then set EQ's, effects, mix down, and master the final project. This class can also get you ready for the Protools certification test. This course consist of 10 (2 hours) classes, $3200.00.
